STC Chicago Celebrates Science, Forms Partnership with Science Chicago

STC Chicago is proud to announce its partnership with Science Chicago.

The Museum of Science and Industry is spearheading Science Chicago, a collaboration of more than 140 public and private institutions that have come together to present the world's largest science celebration. Designed to awaken the inner scientist in each and every one of us, thousands of dynamic and interactive activities will provide hands-on learning; spur thoughtful debate; enhance classroom learning; and build enthusiasm for the pursuit of cutting-edge science while establishing the critical value of science and math education.

Attend an upcoming Science Chicago event and join in the celebration. Stop by the Museum of Science and Industry on May 2nd for Science Works! Cool Jobs and Hot Careers, an event designed for those aged 13 and over. Meet world-renown scientists and explore the worlds of science, engineering and technology--all in a single afternoon.

Investigating Job Aids: Not Just Child's Play

Will Thalheimer is becoming one of my favorite instructional designers. He and Allison Rossett provide us with two short videos on why and how to use job aids. In our glance-reading business world, job aids seem ideal for print or online viewing and can also meet the specs for on-demand mobile delievery.
