Chicago has a lot to offer to those who choose to live in the city and its surrounds.

If you are thinking of relocating to the Chicago area, consider the latest list of "Best Places to Live" from Money Magazine, where several Chicago suburbs rate high.

This year, the list highlighted small suburban towns, "places that offered the best combination of economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a real sense of community."
We looked at the top 100 and found the following:

Last year, when the criteria focused on "places that offer big-city opportunities and amenities -- with a lot more green space and a lot less stress," Naperville, Illinois, scored big, ranking #2 among the top "100 Great American Towns."
