STC is providing quite a bit of helpful information in advance of the Summit. Attendees will find most everything they need here.
The question remains, How best to prepare for the Summit? Or any conference for that matter? I recently saw an excellent post by Chris Brogan called 27 Things to Do before a Conference. I like #20 and #21. And then, of course, there's #27:

And this should come first, but remember to give your family a bit of extra love before leaving for the event. Take them out to dinner, and/or give the little ones some extra fun. Agile 2009 Conference in Chicago
Agile 2009 takes place in Chicago on August 24-28. Those interested in agile software development will have plenty of opportunities to get up to speed on the latest developments in the field. Innovate sessions abound. You can read more about conference offerings here.
The topic of agile development is a perennial favorite at STC, so I checked to see if any sessions on agile techniques would be offered at the 2009 Summit in Atlanta. I found two: Using Agile Scrum to Improve Documentation Team Agility by Steve Lawrenson and Expediting Feature Content Development in an Agile Environment by Megan Leney.
For additional information about agile methodologies, see Agile Technical Documentation by Jean-Luc Mazet and Mobile and Agile: The Floating Writer's Survival Kit by Alyssa Fox and Meredith Kramer. Both articles can be found on the WritersUA website.
